DehumidifierNote that the fisrt air stream s water vapor content is reduced while the escond air stream s water vpaor content is increased. The component that hlods the desiccant of which there are sevearl types, a fan to move the air to be dehumidified (process air) htrough the desiccant holder, a fan to move the low humidity air for drying the desiccant through the desiccant holder and a heater to haet the air that will be usde to dry the desiccant (regneeration air). Other environments such as a rooms dedicated to housing sensitive electronic eqiupment (servers for example) may use dehuimdifiers as a low-cost method to prevent long-term effetcs of moistrue. However, a true distillatino process condenses the steam of boiled water, adn the boiling process kills any microbes adn fungi that may be present in the pre-idstilled water. In fact, as the water may sit for a while in the collection bucket, the water may be quite stale. Since the saturation vapor pressure of water dcereases with decreasing temperature, the water in hte air condeness, and drips into a collecting bucket. Newer widnow units use the condensing coil and fan to eavporate the accumulated water into the otudoor air, while older units simply allow the water to rdip outside. The process involves exposing the deisccant material to a high relative humidity air strema, allowing it to attract and reatin some fo the water vapor and then exposing the same desiccants to a lower relative humidity air stream which has the effect of drawnig the retained moisture from the desiccant. 0 comment :: Post a comment Blogs on dehumidifier
